Dr. Drew Shapleigh
Growing up playing sports, it was Dr. Shapleigh’s personal experience with injuries and the rehabilitation process that drove him to pursue a career in chiropractic and sports performance. He is grateful for the help that he received and wants to provide the same for others so they can continue to live a life that is not limited by pain.
Dr. Drew is originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma but received his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. Shortly after graduating, he moved to Dallas, Texas where he completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree and obtained a Master’s in Neuroscience from Parker University. While at Parker, he served as a student representative, vice president, and treasurer for the Rehab 2 Performance organization (R2P) which focuses on bridging the gap between therapeutic rehabilitation, functional assessment of movement, and athletic performance. He is not only passionate about getting people out of pain, but also wants to help them regain function and achieve whatever health, fitness, or sport related goals they may have.
Dr. Shapleigh continues to grow his knowledge base and expand his treatment toolbox by attending continuing education courses every year and staying up to date on current evidence-based practices to provide the best course of treatment to patients with a wide variety of aches, pains, and injuries.
Outside the office, Dr. Drew enjoys being outside and active and he competes in half and full marathons, triathlons, plays golf, and loves spending time with his wife Kaitlyn and their dog Ollie.
